I have been waiting for this technology to be available for what seemed like forever! Well, finally it’s here, so read my 5-minute review below:

I have received “hang-up” calls, “prank” calls, and sometimes “suspicious” and “threatening” calls. I would have paid good money to trace the call back to the phone’s owner, but the technology wasn’t there to do so, or at least not available to “us little people”. Think of this technology like when some “road rage idiot” cuts you off in rush-hour traffic, and you’re able to get their tag number. The problem is that you have no way of finding out who the “jerk” really is unless you have family working at the local police station. The tag number does you no good unless you want to swear out a warrant, waste $75 and a couple of days in traffic court. But what if you could plug the jerk’s tag number into a “reverse lookup” application that would give you their name and street address?

I don’t like “big brother” any more than the next guy, but at the same time, if I am minding my own business and playing by the rules, I shouldn’t care less who knows who is at the end of my cell phone number. After all, I’m not the jerk calling people I have no business calling! It’s common sense in my book.
